Description

"1914: The Touchstone of the Watchtower," by Max Hatton. Originally written in 1965, this study evaluates the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses regarding the year 1914 as being the end of the "Time of the Gentiles," and as being the year that Jesus Christ began his rule as king over the earth. The Watchtower Society's unique chronological interpretation for the destruction of Jerusalem in 607 BCE as the beginning of the "Gentile Times" is examined from both a scriptural and secular perspective. Permission to distribute on the Internet granted by the author provided textual integrity is maintained. Click on PDF link on the left to read or download the file.
